First Shot: Without Dirt

Amazing really, how the two look so very different...this one is very clean looking.

First Shot: with Dirt

The whole dirt thing is being a bit of a...well, causeing some problems for some viewers, I've really reduced it down so that its not nearly as intence...

Plans for this animation

The idea with this animation this time round, REALLY is to, try again, with the concept of just having just sound, or, having simple music and a lot of sound...I think if I make this film really short then I'll be far less stressed and will manage to do this (I hope).

It's really, that, not letting a thing grow to be too big, problem, that I think (when you let that happen) everything becomes daunting. A controled little short should benifit everything as you could focus on everything with more energy.

The Plane

Here it is, I started to do this while shots taking ten hours to render for "The Rescue" were rendering away.

Third and Fourth Still

That's it for the moment, have gone into the colour balance and tweaked, upped the blue in it, was way too green before. But now it's back to work on The Rescue for me.

PS

Really very happy with how this has turned out though.

Second Still

Ok, well...I’m *meant* to be working full throttle on my other short “The Rescue” at the moment, but I got carried away here with this...I’m really liking and enjoying working with these colours.

First Still

First Still from the short, I keep adding more details.

Introduction

This is just a very quick launch of a new blog for another of my animation shorts. The Pilot only excists as one set so far. It was inspired by watching about thirty minutes of a film from 1965 called Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines or How I Flew from London to Paris in 25 hours 11 minutes directed by Ken Annakin.

I was really taken by the old planes and instantly had a idea for a film.

I want to do this one in colour, and hope that I can get a nice basic colour palette going on with this.
